Four different worker decisions
The four packs share quality and completion controls, but their scenarios and model responses do not duplicate one another.
Workers practise recognising an incident, near miss or disclosure, supporting immediate safety, recording facts and securing an accepted hand-off. Provider personnel retain investigation and reportability decisions.
Fictional money, gift, family-pressure and conflict scenarios test respectful refusal, participant choice, transparency and provider escalation without legal-capacity advice.
Participants rewrite judgemental notes into observation, direct words, chronology, action and follow-up, then practise corrections and structured handovers.
Scenarios focus on early change, worker self-regulation, accessible communication, space, time, team escalation and specialist restraint, not behaviour-support or physical-intervention training.
Tailored to your service
Each workshop is shaped around your escalation, incident, privacy and documentation pathways before any of your local terminology is added.
Scenarios stay fictional or fully de-identified. Where we don’t have your process, the facilitator uses a generic decision path, never an invented contact, threshold or form.
Merita training is optional professional development. It does not replace the provider’s induction, participant-specific instruction, supervision, workplace competence decisions, the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You, or other training required for a worker’s role.
