Merita is an independent platform for NDIS providers and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the NDIA or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Training and Statements of Completion
Merita workshops are non-accredited professional development. A Statement of Completion records attendance and participation; it does not certify workplace competence or replace provider supervision, mandatory training or formal qualifications.
Merita training is optional professional development. It does not replace the provider’s induction, participant-specific instruction, supervision, workplace competence decisions, the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You, or other training required for a worker’s role.
Incidents and reportability
Workers recognise, support immediate safety, record facts and escalate through the provider’s procedure. The provider’s authorised personnel retain incident assessment, investigation, reportability and external-notification decisions.
Workflow solutions
Merita describes this work as AI-assisted provider operations and compliance workflows. Qualified and authorised people remain responsible for source checking, decisions, approvals and actions.
Merita does not propose autonomous participant-safety, clinical, restrictive-practice, legal, employment or regulatory decisions.
Audit readiness
Readiness features are preparation support, not formal certification auditing. Merita is not an Approved Quality Auditor and does not issue registration, certification or regulatory outcomes.
An Approved Quality Auditor conducts the formal conformity assessment and makes an audit recommendation. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission makes the registration decision.
Provider responsibility
The provider remains responsible for its application, organisation-specific evidence, suitability, implementation, service delivery, decisions, approvals and records. Using the platform does not transfer that accountability.
Providers also retain responsibility for participant safety, workforce competence and legal compliance. Merita work should be considered within the provider’s own governance, professional advice and operating context.
Specialist matters
Merita provides general process tools and guidance, not legal, clinical, employment, behaviour-support or restrictive-practice advice. Questions in those areas remain with the provider’s authorised personnel or an appropriately qualified adviser.
No guaranteed outcome
Merita does not guarantee registration, audit, regulatory, commercial, workforce or compliance outcomes. Recommendations reflect the agreed scope and information available at the time.
